Description

I promised not to post any more Frog Fish photos about 3 months ago, I literally have thousands of them, but I really really liked this one, so I just had to break the promise and post him up.

I love the vibrant orange on the grey of the sea bed, the contrast for me in this shot is killer. I wish I had of dumbed down the background lighting though and made it darker on the skirts, but hey, next time!

This was shot way back when I visited the Philippines in 2016, Dumaguete I believe, where the sand is grey or black from volcanic activity, but which is also a mega haven for Froggies!

Trust me, it’s worth the trek.

Tiger Tail Sea Horse – How To Shoot, That Which Won’t Be Shot

I've talked many times previously about the tricks to successfully shooting Sea Horses, they are inherently shy reef critters who dislike any kind of lighting. Ambon Scorpion Fish – The Eye Of Sauron

Scorpion fish are common as all hell here in Phuket, we also get Devil Scorpions which are rarer but still easily found if you know how to look, but we don't really get any other types of Scorpion fish gracing our dive sites. Now one of the rarest and most sought after for photographers in regards t [...]

Juvenile Emperor Angel Fish

On a day were I expected not to take any photos at all, I took this one of a creature I'd 100% given up on ever getting the shot of him I truly wanted.
