These guys might not be the rarest find on earth but the Dragonet are relatively beautiful fish, at least when they are young.

The Juvenile Orange & Black dragonet comes with oranges, yellows, blues and more when small and as they mature turn a sandy brown. Sounds like some office workers I know back home.

Here is another shot of one.

They can be a bit tricky to photograph, as they move frequently and when they do, it is more like a hop your eyes can’t follow, this is also how they feed, ambushing smaller prey with lightning speed.

In my opinion, they are not overly light sensitive, they just get annoyed at you being around for too long and disturbing their feeding.
